Mission: The Cherokee Employee Scholarship Foundation (CESF) is committed to providing support to Cherokee employees and family members pursuing higher education. This support is designed to enhance the quality of our employee’s lives and strengthen their families by encouraging individuals to meet their highest potential while solidifying Cherokee’s position as an employer of choice. All scholarships will be merit-based and awarded on an objective and non-discriminatory basis.

Purpose: The Cherokee Employee Scholarship Foundation has been established to assist employees of the Club, an employee’s spouse, or their dependent children who are pursuing higher education.

Important Facts:

·         Application deadline:  March 8, 2024

·         CESF will be awarding multiple smaller amounts beyond the first and second prizes.

·         Finalists must be available for interviews either in person, via online meeting, or by telephone.

·         Recipients will be notified of his/her scholarship award by April 16, 2024

Eligibility Criteria:

·         Applicant is an employee in good standing, an employee’s spouse, or the child (25 or under) of a current employee of Cherokee Town & Country Club.

·         Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale in high school or the last two college semesters.

PLEASE NOTE:

·         Only fully completed applications will be considered. Partially complete applications will not be reviewed nor considered by the selection committee. Please be sure to fill out this application fully.

·         Scholarships are only payable within 12 months of the official notification date. Any unclaimed/unpaid scholarships will be forfeited after 12 months.
